“I wish to extend out gratitude to the staff and owners of the resort.
Units were very clean. Everything neat and tidy. I can't fault anything.
We had an absolute blast”
“Conveniently located just off the main road. Well maintained park, with lots of animals to see. The 4x4 route was however a little confusing here and there, cause there are more roads to choose from when you are driving, than the roads indicated on the map. But nevertheless, we thoroughly enjoyed our 4x4 trip.”
“We felt right at home at De Wildt when we arrived - Alexander (manager) indicates there is coffee and rusks available if we need it before taking on the 4x4 route.
The route is well marked, each obstacle has a chicken run, and the road on top of the one hill leads to a variety of mud holes, but also haa the most game to view - we encountered Bles Buck, Zebra, giraffe, and (no suprise) Impala. This time of year ensured a lot of young antelope among the adult males and females.
De Wildt’s braai area, picnic spots and swimming pool are in very good condition and I plan to take my whole family to enjoy a weekend at De Wildt in the near future.”
“We had a great day out with friends in this wonderful place. The picnic and braai facilities are very convenient (including tables and chairs) and clean!
Great 4x4 park to have some fun while seeing all kinds of game (zebras, giraffes, kudus,...). Absolute fun!”
“This was the first 4x4 trail I have done by myself in my new Ford Ranger. The trail scenery is excellant. The 4x4 obstacles are well maintained and all offer a chicken run. I was able to do 70% of the obstacles - the other 30% required a bit more confidence. A great trail to test your vehicle's capabilities whether you are a beginner or seasoned 4x4 specialist.
Reception staff were friendly and very informative. I just felt the rpice tag was a bit high, but probably worth it considering the condition of the trail. Will defnitely be back!”
